Thank you for taking the time to complete the 2025 Outdoor Events Umpire Expression of Interest Form.

Please note that this form is simply for Umpires to submit your expression of interest to umpire at the JCC, SCC, and/or the JSC. Once expressions of interest close Hockey Victoria (in conjunction with HV Officiating Committee) will allocate umpires to panels for each event.

Expressions of interest for the JCC will close at 5.00pm on Monday 31st March 2025 and Hockey Victoria will endeavour to inform all successful candidates of their appointments within a fortnight.

Expressions of interest for the SCC and the JSC will close at 5.00pm on Wednesday 30th April 2025 and Hockey Victoria will endeavour to inform all successful candidates of their appointments within a fortnight.

Junior Country Championships

The 2025 Junior Country Championships will run on the weekend of Saturday 17th & Sunday 18th May. The venues will be as follows: Under 14 Boys & Girls - Essendon Hockey Centre Under 16 Boys & Girls - Greensborough Hockey Centre Under 18 Boys & Girls - Melbourne Sports Centres Parkville All Umpires officiating at the JCC will receive coaching across the course of the weekend and a payment of $15 per match they umpire (noting matches are shortened in length).

Senior Country Championships

The 2025 Senior Country Championships will run from Saturday 7th June to Monday 9th June at Bendigo Hockey Centre. Should team entries numbers be at a level that requires second venue, HV will source one in close proximity to MSC Parkville. All Umpires officiating at the SCC will receive coaching across the course of the weekend. In 2025, umpires will also be paid $20 per match.

Junior State Championships

In 2025, the Junior State Championships will have Under 12s (Hockey 5s), Under 14s, Under 16s and Under 18s.

The event returns to Metro Victoria in 2025.

U12 Hockey 5s JSC: 9 - 10 July 2025 at Footscray Hockey Centre
U14 & U16 JSC: 11 - 13 July 2025 at SNCH Parkville and Footscray Hockey Centre
U18 JSC: 20 - 22 September 2025 at SNHC Parkville

2025 JSC Umpire Expressions of Interest must be submitted by 5.00pm Thursday 1st May 2025. All umpires will receive coaching and mentoring for the duration of the Event, as well as payment of $15 per match.
