Hockey Victoria and Water Partners are excited to announce the continuation of their successful partnership, with Water Partners stepping up as the naming rights partner of the Senior Country Championships in Bendigo from 7-9 June.
This renewed collaboration builds on Water Partners' significant support in 2024, which included sponsorship of both the Junior Country Championships and the Junior State Championships held in Bendigo and Shepparton. Their ongoing commitment underscores a shared dedication to fostering the growth of Hockey in rural and regional communities.
Water Partners, a not-for-profit company, provides valuable resources to the agricultural sector, including free education on water trading, expert advice on integrating water trading into business operations, and 24/7 access to water trading platforms displaying current market prices.
"As a not-for-profit built by farmers, we understand the vital role sport plays in rural and regional communities," said Donna Mulcahy, CEO of Water Partners. "The Senior Country Championships offer a fantastic opportunity for players of all ages to represent their communities and compete. We're proud to support everyone involved. Irrigated agriculture is the lifeblood of these communities, and Water Partners is committed to supporting the individuals who drive quality produce, create employment, and contribute to strong, healthy regions."
Hockey Victoria CEO Andrew Skillern expressed his gratitude, stating, "We deeply appreciate Water Partners' support for our 2024 events and are delighted to see this partnership flourish. Hosting the Water Partners Senior Country Championships in Bendigo is a fantastic boost for regional Hockey and will be a memorable experience for all participants. We couldn't ask for a better partner than Water Partners, and we extend our sincere thank you to Donna and the team."
