Water Partners (Aust) Ltd sponsorship announcement

Hockey Victoria is delighted to announce a new partnership with Water Partners (Aust) Ltd.  

The partnership will see them sponsor the 2024 Junior State Championships which are taking place in Bendigo and Shepparton.  

In addition, Water Partners will also sponsor the Goulburn Valley Hockey Association (GVHA), supporting the Association teams that will attend the Junior Country Championships in May this year.   

It is the first partnership of its kind, whereby Water Partners are not only supporting Hockey Victoria, but also GVHA who are hosting the 2024 Junior State Championships.  

Hockey Victoria CEO Andrew Skillern had the following to say “HV are delighted to partner with GVHA and Water Partners to provide support to both the Junior State Championships (JSC) but more importantly the local GVHA Junior Country Championships teams in 2024.”

Water Partners (Aust) Ltd are proud to sponsor the 2024 Junior State Championship and to be partnering with Hockey Victoria and the Goulburn Valley Hockey Association.  The JCC gives young hockey players from all over the state a chance to compete with other regional and metro teams and to further develop their skills and talents.  

Holding the JSC in the regional areas of Shepparton and Bendigo is a fantastic opportunity to highlight the importance that country clubs and associations play, not only for hockey but also the regional towns and farming communities that are built on irrigation and agriculture.

The GV Hockey Association welcomes Water Partners to the GV Hockey community as a dedicated Junior Country Championships sponsor for 2024. The association has a proud history of representation at JCC. Water Partners’ assistance will go a long way to ensuring this continues for another year, helping minimise costs for players and their families. 

We also look forward to Water Partners’ support of the Junior State Championships of which we are hosting along with Hockey Central Victoria in July. After successfully co-hosting the event in trying times in 2021, we expect an even better JSC in 2024!

Remaining Opportunities 

There is one additional opportunity remaining to partner with the Goulburn Valley Hockey Association, as well as become a Junior State Championships sponsor. 

In addition to that, there are two opportunities remaining with Hockey Central Victoria to support their junior programs and come on board as a Junior State Championships sponsor.
