Victorians selected in Paris Olympic Teams
Published Mon 01 Jul 2024
Southern United Hockey Club product and Hockeyroos young gun, Amy Lawton has been named in the Olympic Team. In what is a huge moment for Lawton, the 22-year-old will line up at her second Olympic games in less than a month’s time in Paris.
Nathan Ephraums and Johan Durst have also been named as travelling reserves in the Kookaburras Team. Travelling reserves can be selected as a replacement athlete onto the Australian Olympic Team in case of injury or other withdrawal of one of the selected athletes.
The Paris 2024 Olympic Games takes place from Friday 26 July to Sunday 11 August, with the Hockey tournament set to take place from Saturday 27 July to Saturday 10 August.
The Hockeyroos and Kookaburras are two of Australia's most successful teams with a combined 13 Olympic medals between them.
