Thank you to HC Melbourne’s Partners and Supporters
Published Tue 03 Dec 2024
As the curtain closes on the 2024 Hockey One season, HC Melbourne and Hockey Victoria would like to sincerely thank all of our team partners, players sponsors, members and our amazing supporters.
It truly has been a record-breaking season for HC Melbourne, claiming our first Hockey One title since the League was established in 2019. The HC Melbourne Men defeated Canberra Chill in the Grand Final to clinch the title. On top of that fantastic achievement, we have had numerous of other highlights this season:
-
We broke our home match day attendance record in Round 3 against Perth Thundersticks
-
Then, we broke it for a second time in Round 7 against the Tassie Tigers, with 2020 people in attendance
-
HC Melbourne is now the most followed team in the Hockey One League across Instagram and Facebook
-
Our broadcast numbers again increased on 2024, with record numbers watching the HC Melbourne teams play on 7Plus
-
We were incredibly fortunate to have the support of seven team/match day partners, as well as over 50 companies on board as player sponsors.
-
Cooper Burns took home the Men’s Fan Voted League MVP & Johan Durst was the SportsLink Travel Shootout Medal winner for the Men’s Competition, both wonderful achievements
-
Cooper Burns, Ben White, Peter Scott and Johan Durst were selected in The Shootout (Hockey One League podcast) team of the year
