Outdoor Events calendar announced for 2021

Hockey Victoria is delighted to announce the dates and locations for our 2021 Outdoor Events.

Junior Country Championships (JCC)

Dates – Saturday 15^th & Sunday 16^th May, 2021

Locations – Essendon Hockey Centre (Under 13 Boys & Girls), Greensborough Hockey Centre (Under 15 Boys & Girls) and Footscray Hockey Centre (Under 18 Boys & Girls)

Senior Country Championships (SCC)

Dates – Saturday 12^th June – Monday 14^th June, 2021

Locations – Stead Park, Geelong (Women) and Footscray Hockey Centre (Men)

Junior State Championships (JSC)

Dates – Thursday 1^st July – Sunday 4^th July, 2021

Locations – Bendigo (Under 13, Under 15 & Under 18 Girls) and Shepparton (Under 13, Under 15 & Under 18 Boys)

Team entry packs for the JCC and SCC will be released in the new year, along with nomination information for the JSC.

Regional Victoria Travel Vouchers

On Wednesday 18^th November, it was announced that as part of the 2020/21 Victorian Budget there would a $28million initiative whereby Victorian’s would be able to apply for $200 vouchers as long as they spend $400 on accommodation, attractions or tours in Regional Victoria. The scheme is expected to be up and running in December.

When further information is released, Hockey Victoria will share it and would encourage any potential participants in the Junior State Championships (held in Bendigo and Shepparton) and Women’s Senior Country Championships (held in Geelong) to look into it further to see if they qualify for a $200 voucher.

Hockey Victoria would like to thank all the venues that have agreed to host Events in 2021, we look forward to working with them to bring our Events back bigger, better and in a COVIDSafe manner next year. We also thank the Greater Shepparton City Council and City of Greater Bendigo for their support of the 2021 Junior State Championships.

Finally, it should be noted that Hockey Victoria will continue to monitor all restrictions and advice from the Government and relevant health authorities in the lead up to these Events. COVIDSafe Plans will be developed to ensure compliance with any restrictions and for the safety of all participants involved.
