Our new 2025 JSC Zone Coordinators are here

Published Wed 12 Feb 2025

Hockey Victoria wish to provide an update on the 2025 Zone Coordinator roles ahead of the JSC trials in April.

Firstly, we would like to thank our outgoing Zone Coordinators from 2024. We are sad to see these Coordinators depart, but we are eternally grateful for the amazing support they have shown their respective Zones and Junior State Championships community over the years.

Thank you Tammy A’Beckett (Central Flames), Pam Trenery (North East Red Devils), Clarke Rossiter (North West Tigers), Tina Papadopoulos (Southern Sharks), Clio Bergmann (Gippsland Bulls), and Mark Bridge (South West Eagles) for your time as Coordinators of your respective Zone.

For some, you have been with us for 5+ years, for others it was just a year or two. However long it may have been, without you, the JSC would not continue to grow and thrive. You have all done an incredible job and you should be proud of your outstanding work!

We would like to welcome our new Coordinators in 2025 and thank them in advance for their support across each Zone. Please see the incoming Zone Coordinators for this year:

·        North East Red Devils – Wouter van Voorst (Zone Coordinator) & Tom Pasquali (Assistant Zone Coordinator).

o   Wouter brings in a wealth of knowledge in Hockey as a Coach, Teacher, and Trainer from the Netherlands. Wouter is also the new Men’s PL Coach at Doncaster.

o   The new Zone Coordinator will be joined by Tom as the Assistant Zone Coordinator. Tom will support the Red Devils throughout the 2025 JSC period.

·        North West Tigers – Michael Bairstow (Co-Zone Coordinator)

o   As Junior Coordinator at Melton Hockey Club and a P.E. Teacher, Michael brings in an outstanding commitment to developing the junior playing group. Michael will work alongside Chris Pearson in 2025.

·        Southern Sharks – Shelley Fallowfield (Co-Zone Coordinator)

o   Shadowing the Zone in 2024, Shelley will work alongside Laetitia in 2025. Shelley has joy for ensuring a safe and supportive environment for all players with her experience as a Member Safety Officer at Bayside.

·        Western Wildcats – Hayley Jeromson (Assistant Zone Coordinator)

o   Hayley will help support Christy as an Assistant in 2025. Providing great assistance with administration and communications across the Zone.

We are still looking for Coordinators for the Flames and Eagles in 2025 and are accepting applications at this time. Please check out the article link here for more information on the application process. Please contact Keegan Watson at kwatson@hockeyvictoria.org.au to apply.

Bring on the upcoming trials!!
