2023 Outdoor Events – Officiating Expressions of Interest Now Open

Expressions of interest to officiate at the 2023 Hockey Victoria Outdoor Events are now open.

We are seeking Umpires, Technical Officials, Tournament Directors, Umpire Managers and Umpire Coaches across our Outdoor Events. Further information is available through the Expression of Interest links that are provided below.

Grassports Junior Country Championships

The 2023 Grassports Junior Country Championships will take place on Saturday 20^th May & Sunday 21^th May across Essendon, Greensborough and MSC Parkville.

We are seeking the following for all age groups:

• Tournament Directors & Assistant Tournament Directors
• Umpire Managers, Assistant Umpire Managers & Umpire Coaches
• Umpires

Grassports Senior Country Championships

The 2023 Grassports Senior Country Championships will take place on Saturday 10^th June – Monday 12^th June across Hawthorn Malvern Hockey Centre (Women) and Footscray (Men).

We are seeking the following for both locations:

• Tournament Directors & Assistant Tournament Directors
• Umpire Managers, Assistant Umpire Managers & Umpire Coaches
• Umpires

It is worth noting that the Masters division of this Event will be open to Metropolitan teams to enter, effectively making it a Masters State Championships.

Grassports Junior State Championships

In 2023 the Grassports Junior State Championships will have a slight change of age groups, to Under 12 (Hockey 5s), Under 14, Under 16 and Under 18.

The Event will run as follows:

• Under 14 & Under 16 - 29th June to 2nd July at MSC Parkville & Footscray
• Under 12 - 1st & 2nd July at either Footscray or MSC Parkville
• Under 18s - EITHER Friday 22nd September to Sunday 24th September OR Wednesday 27th to Friday 29th September at MSC Parkville

• Umpire Managers, Assistant Umpire Managers & Umpire Coaches
• Umpires
• Technical Officials
