Indoor Club Championships set for February

Hockey Victoria is excited to be in a position to offer Indoor Club Championships in February, 2021.

In December last year, as it become evident that restrictions had eased sufficiently to facilitate the Indoor Club Championships in Term 1, HV ran an expression of interest process with clubs. This saw clubs indicate if they may be capable of entering teams and provide us with their preferred dates for each age group. The response was overwhelmingly positive and as such, the Events will be offered on the following dates:

Under 13 Boys & Girls	Saturday 13^th & Sunday 14^th February, 2021	Monash University, Clayton Campus
Under 15 Boys & Girls	Saturday 20^th & Sunday 21^st February, 2021	Monash University, Clayton Campus
Under 18 Boys & Girls	Saturday 27^th & Sunday 28^th February, 2021	Monash University, Clayton Campus

HV are aware that there may be some clashes with Under 15 & Under 18 State trials/training and exploring some fixturing options such as running some Friday evening matches and avoiding matches on Sunday morning for teams with a large number of players impacted.

Please note that as these Events are taking place very soon, some of the deadlines for officials to express interest are very tight. Therefore, we encourage you to complete a submission at your earliest convenience if you wish to be involved.

Player Pick-up Roster

HV are trialling a new initiate for the Indoor Club Championships in February, whereby players whose club have not entered a team can submit their details and potentially be picked up by a club that is looking for additional players to fill their teams.
