HV launches Open Midweek Women’s Competitions

Are you between 18-35 female and want to play in a venue-based competition on a weeknight? Then we’ve got the perfect fit Hockey for you.

The Women's Open Competitions that are on offer for the 2023 winter season are:

6 Teams at Elwood
6 Teams at Knox & Waverley (rotating each week between the 2 venues)
6 Teams at Brunswick & Essendon (rotating each week between the 2 venues)

Team entries for all these competitions are open now and can be entered here. Entries for these competitions will be on a first come first served basis.

Not in a team?
Simply fill out an Expression of Interest here and we'll enter you in a team.

These competitions will all exist as “developing competitions” under the rules and regulations which will allow for players to participant independently of other mid-week/master’s competitions for the purposes of player eligibility.

Season Start: Monday 24th/Wednesday 25th April
No play: Kings Birthday Week 12th and 14th June, June/July School Holidays
Rounds: 17
Grading: Ideal 8 team grades to achieve 1 home and 1 away for each team
Grand Finals: Monday 11th and Wednesday 13th of September
