Hockey Victoria launch HV Foundation

On 1 February 2024, Hockey Victoria launched the Hockey Victoria Foundation.
The Foundation provides an opportunity for Hockey Victoria to provide a platform for us as the governing body, the community, and its stakeholders to give back and support those who may be having financial hardship or facing barriers which prevent inclusion. We are looking forward to providing multiple projects through the tenure of the Foundation.
For our inaugural project the ‘HV Junior Representative Scholarship Fund’ we are partnering with the Sports Excellence Scholarship Fund (SESF), The Offsiders and the Australian Sports Foundation (ASF) to support young athletes whose financial circumstances would preclude them from otherwise participating at representative level for their state or Australia.
Through support received to date we were able to provide out first scholarship to a HV pathway player at the U16 National Championships.
