Hockey referenced in Victoria's India Strategy 2025-2030

Hockey Victoria welcomed the launch of Victoria’s India Strategy 2025-2030 by Premier Jacinta Allan during her recent visit to India.
The strategy highlights the work that HV is doing to strengthen our relations with India to build on the interest and popularity of hockey amongst the Indian community in Victoria.

HV is engaging with all levels of Government to ensure that hockey plays a role in bilateral trade, partnerships and the ongoing development of the game in both nations.

HV is equally committed to the development of our key outer suburban and regional areas with high levels of interest in playing hockey within the Indian population. This weekend’s International Hockey Cup held at the State Netball and Hockey Centre and hosted by the Indian diaspora was yet another demonstration of the popularity of hockey amongst our Indian communities.
