Hockey Club Melbourne Head Coach roles open

Hockey Victoria (HV) is currently seeking applications from experienced individuals for roles in both the Men's and Women's Hockey Club Melbourne programs.

HV would like to thank both Phil Burrows and Lachlan Anderson for their amazing contribution to their respective teams over the past four years.

As part of Lachlan Anderson’s role as General Manager – High Performance he will oversee the HC Melbourne program including performing the role of Coaching Director (overseeing the Head Coaches roles) in Season 3 of Hockey One.

The Head Coach role is responsible for providing leadership of our Hockey Club Melbourne Program with the goal of optimising team improvement, performance, and player enjoyment for the Hockey One season. The Head Coaches will be expected to design and implement a preparation program within the parameters provided for their team/players and provide the tactical and technical direction expertise throughout the preparation and competition.

Timelines for your planning:

April: Nominations open (Close end of April)

       HC Melbourne Information session April 12^th

May:   Extended Squad Selection by end of May

June:  Single Pitch session per week

July:  3 Trial Games - Final Squad selection end of July

July 31^st - September 27^th: Double on pitch sessions per week

September-November: Competition Phase.
