In 2024 Hockey Victoria will again be running a Men's Health Lunch to raise funds for Movember! 

We'd like to invite you to join us for a delicious lunch (canapes on arrival and a main course) overlooking the iconic Junction Oval in St. Kilda.

The Event details are as follows: 

Date: Friday, 16th August 

Venue: CitiPower Centre Junction Oval St. Kilda  

Time: 12.00pm - 3.00pm  

  • 12.00pm - 12.30pm - Networking & Canapes 

          Guests can meet and chat with others from the Community and enjoy some delicious canapes.  

  • 12.30pm - 2.30pm - Lunch & Guest Speakers 

           Formalities begin. Guest will hear from some wonderful guest speakers, as well as enjoy lunch.  

  • 2.30pm - 3.00pm - Last chance networking & final drinks 

           Guests can enjoy a final drink and network before departing 

 

Kickstarting the 2024 Men's Health Round, the lunch will provide a brilliant opportunity to network with the community and hear from some inspiring speakers and guests (to be announced in the coming weeks).  

There will also be some great items available through the raffle, with the highlight being a signed 2023/4 Melbourne Stars BBL playing shirt and 2 x tickets to the corporate box for a Melbourne Renegades BBL match later this year! 

 

Purchasing Tickets 

To purchase your tickets to this wonderful Event, please use the following link - Men's Health Lunch Tickets by 5.00pm Wednesday 31st July.   

There are three options available:  

  • Individual tickets = $97.50 

  • Half table (5 people) = $480.00 

  • Full Table (10 people) = $920.00 

There is no upfront payment required at the point of registration. Instead, invoices will be sent out just prior to the Event.  

 

Guest Speakers

We are thrilled to announce that we have secured three wonderful guest speakers for the Event.

Travis Brooks OAM and Stephen Mowlam OAM are two of the Olympic stars who won Gold at the 2004 Athens Olympics, the first and only gold medal for the Kookaburras. Both Victorians were instrumental in the win against the Netherlands in the final. Brooks scoring the only Australian regulation time goal, which sent the game into extra time.

David Hussey has large list of achievements, most notably playing in the One Day and T20 national teams as well as playing in the IPL and with Melbourne Stars.
