Board Update – May 2024

The Hockey Victoria (HV) board is pleased to the announce the following changes to the board.

Tracey Drake has been appointed as HV’s Chair (President).

Tracey, who has been Vice Chair of the HV Board since 2020 steps into the role with breadth of knowledge and experience having served on the HV Board for over a decade. Previously, Tracey was chair of the HV Risk & Governance Sub Committee and a current member of HV’s Finance Sub Committee and has been an active member of the HC Melbourne Working Group focused on the commercialisation of our franchise Hockey One team.

Tracey’s experience extends from a deep involvement in Hockey at the community level, pathways, and performance level of the game. Professionally, Tracey has established herself as an Executive Director working within Government and in the private sector specialising in service and operating model reform, system and process design, business and digital strategy and the value of data insights informing decision making.

Experienced Director Kester Brown has been appointed as the Vice Chair.

Nichola Harris and Ben Verney attended their first Board meeting this week after being appointed at the AGM on 10 April.
