A reminder to respect the game & others

The 2024 Winter Season is here! As players, coaches, officials, and everyone involved in Hockey, we all share a responsibility to create a positive and inclusive environment.
To reinforce our commitment, we would like to emphasise the following key points from Hockey Victoria's Code of Conduct:

• Act and operate within the rules and spirit of hockey

• Accept and respect the authority of Officials and must not use offensive language or behaviour, show unnecessary dissension, displeasure or disapproval towards an Official, whether on or off the field of play;

• Treat all Relevant Organisation representatives and other stakeholders with courtesy, respect, dignity and have proper regard for their rights and obligations;
• Not behave in a manner that is physical, emotional, racial, religious or sexual harassment towards Relevant Organisation representatives or Relevant Persons;

• Not behave in a manner that creates a public nuisance and/or disturbance within or around a venue at which an Activity is taking place;

We urge everyone to take the time to ensure that all within their club community are educated on such values and held accountable for poor behaviour.

Any violation of Hockey Victoria's Code of Conduct, Rules, Regulations and Schedules will be taken seriously. The organisation reserves the right to investigate any reported incidents or concerns regarding poor behaviour, discrimination, harassment, or any other forms of misconduct.
