7 reasons to play Summer Hockey this year!

Summer Hockey is fast, fun & social. After the year that’s been, what better way to get back on the pitch and play Hockey with your friends.

The 7 Reasons to play are simple:

1. Free- Everyone likes free stuff, right? Well, you’re in luck! If you registered with HV in 2021 we’re covering the cost of ground hire, umpires, and competition management.

2. Social- After a year (or 2) of staying indoors, we know you want to re-engage with your friends, have a laugh & a hit. Get your social fix at Hockey!

3. Venue Based- No more getting lost or travelling across Victoria. It’s simply at the same venue each week - So, you’ll be an expert at getting to the ground.

4. Low commitment- Competition is only 6 weeks total including finals, so you’ll be done in time for all your Christmas festivities. All competitions are planned to be finished by 16^th December.

5. Flexible game times- We know you’re busy, so we’ve tried to schedule them at convenient times! Games range from Sunday evenings through to Thursday evenings.

6. For everyone- Are you a first timer or pro? There’s a spot for everyone with varying degrees of skill.

7. Shorter games- Not everyone has been going on 10km runs in lockdown. Games are shorter than usual with 2x25 minute halves. So, if you need a breather just jump on the bench!
