The 2025 Junior State Championships player and coach nominations are now open!

In 2025, the Junior State Championships will be held at the State Netball Hockey Centre Parkville & Footscray Hockey Centre. See below for age group locations & dates:

U12 Hockey 5s JSC:

· 9 - 10 July 2025 at Footscray Hockey Centre

U14 & U16 JSC:

· 11 - 13 July 2025 at SNCH Parkville and Footscray Hockey Centre

U18 JSC:

· 20 - 22 September 2024 at SNHC Parkville

Player Nominations

All Zone player nominations are now open, but it should be noted that you must have your relevant 2025 Hockey Victoria registration before you can submit a nomination. Please click here to complete your Hockey Victoria registration before nominations for your Zone team.

All Under 12, Under 14 and Under 16 player nominations must be submitted by 5.00pm on Wednesday, 23rd April 2025. All these age groups will trial on Sunday 27^th April and you must attend the trial to be considered for selection, unless you have been granted automatic selection into the team (further details below).

All Under 18 player nominations must be submitted by 5.00pm on Wednesday, 16th July 2025. All trials for this age groups will be conducted on Sunday, 20 July, unless communicated earlier on the nomination link or via your Zone Coordinator. Nominees must attend the trial to be considered for selection, unless you have been granted automatic selection into the team (further details below).

Before you complete a nomination, please ensure that you read through all the information when you follow the link. There are a number of important things for you to be aware of such as the years you must be born in to nominate, costs, trial details etc.

Please note that some Zones have not finalised the location and times of their trials yet, but the trial date is locked in. Once finalised, all players that have nominated will be contacted with the details.

Automatic Selection Information for State Team Players

Please take note of the automatic entry information for state team players.

Where a player is entitled to automatic selection into their Zone team and they wish to participate, they MUST still nominate for their Zone team but will not be required to attend the trial.

Age Group	Automatic Selection Information
Under 12	There is no automatic selection for any players into Under 12 teams
Under 14	There is no automatic selection for any players into Under 14 teams
Under 16	Any player that is selected into the 2025 Under 16 Victorian teams will be granted automatic selection into their Zone Team. They MUST still nominate for their Zone team if they wish to be selected but will not be required to trial.
Under 18	Any player that is selected into the 2025 Under 18 Victorian teams will be granted automatic entry into their Zone Team. They MUST still nominate for their Zone team if they wish to be selected but will not be required to trial.
