Hockey Victoria is thrilled to be hosting the annual Stand Out Cup event this year!

The Stand Out Cup (SOC) is an annual pre-season fixture event designed to celebrate diversity and inclusivity in hockey. Since its birth in 2015, the event has grown significantly and provided a crucial platform to raise funds and awareness for Proud 2 Play and Minus 18, two not-for-profit organisations that provide essential support to LGBTIQ+ youth.

In 2020, the tournament is open to mixed gender teams of 6-10 people and will be run as a Hockey Sixers style competition at Essendon Hockey Centre. The day will also feature a Pride Sixers Come n Try session at 10 am-11 am for LGBTIQ+ community members and their friends and family to come and give Hockey a go!

There will also be plenty of activity on the day for the whole family to enjoy.
