Register for the 2024/25 Strength and Conditioning (S&C) Program!
As the thrill of the field hockey season winds down, it’s time to start thinking about how to elevate your game for the 2025 club preseason. This off-season, athletes have a golden opportunity to register for the highly anticipated Strength and Conditioning (S&C) Program, designed specifically to enhance performance and prepare players for the challenges ahead. Whether you aspire to attend U21 trials or simply aim to improve your skills, this is your chance to train alongside the best.
Tailored Training for Ultimate Performance
This year's program will be delivered by the HV High Performance team in partnership with MOTUS. Renowned for their commitment to athlete development, MOTUS. has successfully run multiple S&C Academy components throughout 2024. By participating in this program, athletes will experience the full benefits of specialised coaching designed to sharpen physical performance, boost speed and agility, and prevent injuries.
What the Program Includes
The comprehensive S&C Program goes for 10 weeks (November to the end of January) and is structured into three distinct blocks:

Block 1: November/December - 4 weeks of strength training.

Block 2: Christmas Break - 3 weeks to keep you on track even during the festive season.

Block 3: January - 3 weeks of conditioning-focused training.
During this period, you'll engage in:

1 face-to-face strength session per week in High-Performance Gym located at the Melbourne Sport Centre.

1 face-to-face conditioning session per week at the Royal Park (Parkville).
-
2 individual training sessions per week to be completed at your convenience.

A tailored Christmas break program to maintain your fitness during the holiday season.

Access to the Athlete Management System and Programming on the XPS platform, providing ongoing support and tracking.
Athletes participating in the program will go through an initial testing session to determine their specific training needs, ensuring a personalised training plan that optimises performance based on individual results.
Affordable Investment in Your Future
For just $180 for the entire 10-week program—that’s only $18 per week!—athletes can unlock their full potential. Prefer an online-only option? You can access the program for $110.
Please note that all athletes, regardless of their chosen plan, must attend the testing session to ensure they receive a customised training program tailored to their unique requirements.
