Hockey Victoria are now accepting nominations from eligible Country Registered players for the 2024 Country State Teams to compete at the National Country Championships in Goulburn, NSW, August 3-10 2024. 

 

Senior Country Player Assessment Days    

Player Assessment ONE:

Sunday 5th May 

 - MEN arrive at 8:45am.  Session to run from 9am-11:00am

 - WOMEN :  POSTPONED until May 19th

BENDIGO HOCKEY COMPLEX - 14-30 Ashley Street, Bendigo, Vic, 3550

 

Player Assessment TWO:

Sunday 19th May

 - MEN & WOMEN arrive at 8:45am.  Session to run from 9am-11:10am

GEELONG HOCKEY - Johns Street, Corio, Vic, 3214

 

Player Assessment THREE:

Sunday 2nd June

 - MEN  arrive at 7:45am.  Session to run from 8am-10am

 - WOMEN  arrive 9:45am.  Session to run from 10am-12pm

STATE HOCKEY CENTRE - 10 Brens Drive, Parkville, Vic, 3052

 

 

 

Final Player Assessment Information

  1. All players are required to bring a white and a black T-Shirt to the Player Assessments (grey is neither white or black)
  2. All players are required to arrive to the assessments 15 minutes prior to the scheduled starting time.
  3. Players must be registered HV members and be playing in regional competition (as per HA particpation regulations).
  4. Players ARE required to attend a minimum of TWO Player Assessment Sessions.

 

 

Nomination Fee

$50 nomination fee applies

Friday, 17th May 4:00PM - No late nominations will be accepted

 

Financial Commitment

Selected players will be invoiced approx - $1,500 - $2,000

The team costs include team Tournament Entry Fees, all training sessions, Staffing Costs, Team Equipment, Accommodation, Administration etc.

Conflicting Commitments

Players with known conflicting commitments including other sports, work and/or holidays should put this in writing to State Teams Manager, James McCallum stateteams@hockeyvictoria.org.au prior to the Final Player Assessments commencing.
