Hockey Victroria are now accepting nominations from eligible members for selection in its 2023 State Teams, scheduled to contest the 2023 Australian Indoor Hockey Championships, Jan 3-25.

1. All players are required to bring a white and a black T-Shirt to the Player Assessments, (Grey is neither). 
2. All players are required to arrive to the assessments 15 minutes prior to the scheduled starting time

$45 nomination fee applies

Player Nominations CLOSE 24hrs prior to each divisions first respective trial date.

AGE ELIGIBILITY

What are the DOB paremters for each AGE DIVISION:

• The Indoor season is defined as the beginning of October in one year to the end of February in the next year.
• The 2022-23 Indoor Season will commence in 1 October 2022 and conclude on 28 February 2023.
  • If the competition is an Under 21 junior competition, a junior player shall be defined as a player who is 21 years of age and under on December 31 in the year the indoor season commences. Therefore any athlete born on or after 1 January 2001.
  • If the competition is an Under 18 junior competition, a junior player shall be defined as a player who is 18 years of age and under on December 31 in the year the indoor season commences. Therefore any athlete born on or after 1 January 2004.
  • If the competition is an Under 15 junior competition, a junior player shall be defined as a player who is 15 years of age and under on December 31 in the year the indoor season commences. Therefore any athlete born on or after 1 January 2007.
  • If the competition is an Under 13 junior competition, a junior player shall be defined as a player who is 13 years of age and under on December 31 in the year the indoor season commences. Therefore any athlete born on or after 1 January 2009.

• Brisbane Sports & Entertainment Centre
• OPENS :  January 3 - 7
• U21's :  January 8 - 11
• U18's :  January 12 - 16
• U13's :  January 17 - 20
• U15's :  January 21 - 25
• NOTE - selected players will be required to travel to Brisbane with the team, but will have the option to 'opt-out' of a return flight.
• NOTE - Teams will be staying in shared, appartment style accommodation with CHECK-INN the day immediately prior the teams official day 1.  CHECK-OUT will be on the same day each respective division concludes.

COACHING APPOINTMENTS

Financial Commitment
Selected players will be invoiced approx - $2,000
