Croydon Ranges have an exciting opening for a coaching position for its Vic League 2 Women’s team. The position will mentor and develop players in order to build and sustain the team’s performance at the Vic League level. The successful applicant will:

  • Create and Implement robust and engaging training programs.
  • Build strong team cohesion through encouragement and constructive feedback.
  • Facilitate a culture of inclusion and player enjoyment.
  • Develop skills, techniques and tactics to enhance player and team capability.

The position is open to current or former experienced senior players looking to enter the coaching field, and experienced junior or senior coaches and assistant coaches. A minimum level 1 coaching qualification is preferred but is not essential.

The coach must be available to conduct team training at the Yarra Valley Grammar hockey field in Ringwood from 7 pm to 8:30 pm on Thursday nights, and to attend team games per the current Hockey Victoria fixtures. This is a volunteer position; however reasonable travel and general expenses will be reimbursed.
