Hookin2Hockey at Brookside!
Come and join us at Brookside Recreation Reserve in 2024 for our 6-week Hookin2Hockey Program.

What is Hookin2Hockey?
Hookin2Hockey provides kids with the opportunity to learn the basics of hockey, development fundamental motor skills and make friends in a fun, safe, welcoming & inclusive environment.
Who can participate?
We will be running two sessions every Monday afternoon from 19 February to 25 March (excluding public holiday Monday 11 March).
- 4:30pm - 5:15pm: 5-8 year olds
- 5:15pm - 6:00pm: 9-12 year olds
Cost: $112.81
***First 30 kids to register for one of our Term 1 programs will receive a free stick and shin pads. Please note that free sticks are only available in size 34".
How to register:
To register your child for this program, please ensure that you are logged out of any parent accounts, select 'sign up' and register to "Hockey Victoria" with your child's details. Select the "Hockey Vic - Brookside - Term 1 Hookin2Hockey" payment class.
You can also purchase an Equipment Pack (contains a stick, ball and chin pads) for $55. To purchase a Participant Pack ensure that you select the "Hockey Vic - Brookside - Term 1 Hookin2Hockey + Equipment Pack" payment class. Note that the Equipment Pack is optional and Hockey Victoria will provide all the sticks and balls required for the HookIn2Hockey clinic.
What do you need to bring?
If you don't have a stick or shin pads there will be some available for use at the session.
Mouthguards are recommended and can be purchased from your local chemist.
Hockey Australia's official junior program allows kids to make friends and have fun in a safe, welcoming and inclusive environment!
